OVERVIEW

Overview

Schools and Education Centres AC cleaning, fault inspection, repair and installation arrangements. See the applicable cleaning process, current price list, inspection fees, and the boundaries for repair and installation.

KEY CHECKS

Key preparation points before arranging

  1. Coordinate with the class timetable

You may enquire about arrangements on holidays, weekends or when there are no classes, to avoid work while students are present.

  2. Phased handling for multiple classrooms

Multiple classrooms can be handled in batches by floor or by room, so some classrooms can remain in use.

  3. Protection for desks, chairs and teaching materials

Before work starts, please remove teaching materials, electronic devices and students' belongings from under the AC.

  4. Service scope boundaries

Cleaning removes dirt from detachable AC parts and the unit body; it is not a medical-grade or compliance-certified disinfection service. If an organisation has specific hygiene requirements, it should make its own assessment.

CLEANING FIRST

AC Cleaning Scope and Work Arrangement

Schools, kindergartens and education centres may schedule by the number of units per classroom and clean during non-class time, while first protecting teaching materials, projectors and desks and chairs. Dismantling and washing according to the model can handle components, check drainage and test operation; general cleaning is not the same as classroom disinfection or obtaining a designated hygiene certification.

Inspect first, then clean, and finally test the unit

  1. First record the condition of the unit, confirm the installation location, removable parts and scope of work, and protect furniture, goods and electronic devices under the unit
  2. Dismantle and clean the applicable parts according to the actual model and safety conditions, handle dirt build-up, water collection and drainage, and do not treat repairs as included in washing the unit
  3. After reassembling the parts, test run, check drainage and tidy the site; if there is any pre-existing fault or extra work, it will be explained and quoted first

Cleaning maintenance and pricing90-day cleaning maintenance is subject to the terms; pricing is based on model type and number of units

The cleaning service includes a 90-day warranty for problems caused by the cleaning service; dripping and leakage cases must first have the cause verified and the applicable terms confirmed at booking, and not all cases qualify for free repair.

The following are for reference by equipment type only, and do not mean the same brand or venue must use all of the above models. Basic cleaning is priced by model and unit count; outdoor condensers, steam add-ons, special locations and extra work are subject to eligibility checks, and no brand-specific or industry-standard price is created.

FAULT INSPECTIONAir Conditioner Inspection: Identify the Problem FirstIf no repair is carried out, a fixed HK$500 inspection/attendance fee applies; it can be waived from the repair fee if you proceed with the repair.

Provide the classroom location, number of users, and the time when the problem occurred, and identify whether one unit, a specific classroom, or multiple areas are affected. If water is dripping near electrical appliances, there is a burning smell, or a breaker trips, stop using the related equipment first; do not keep switching it back on just to continue the class.

Inspection fee and safety reminder

After the technician visits for an inspection, if the customer does not proceed with the repair or does not accept the repair quotation, a fixed HK$500 inspection/attendance fee will be charged; this is a single charge and is not split into two separate charges.

If you notice a burning smell, smoke, repeated tripping, or water near electrical parts, stop using the equipment first. Do not keep restarting it or dismantle it yourself.

REPAIRAir conditioning repair: confirm the quotation first, then proceedProceed only after the quotation is confirmed; our repair service does not include warranty

Repair arrangements must also confirm student flow, rooms that can be shut down, and the work area with the school. After inspection, the repair scope and quotation will be listed before scheduling the work. Required documents, school acceptance, or special equipment requirements should be provided in advance; no unverified compliance assurances are made.

Keep costs and maintenance separate

If you agree to proceed with repairs, HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee; please check the deduction and amount payable when confirming the quotation.

Our repair service does not include a warranty, including repair parts and workmanship. Please understand the repair scope and fees before accepting the quotation.

Repair parts must be checked against model and supply. We do not guarantee that parts are available for all models or that same-day repair is possible. We will not treat refrigerant top-up as necessary before the cause is confirmed.

INSTALLATIONAC installation and replacementGeneral installation includes a one-year warranty, separate from the manufacturer's warranty; new power supply wiring and extra works quoted separately

When replacing or adding AC units, consider classroom use, airflow direction toward occupied seats, installation height, outdoor heat dissipation and maintenance access. Power supply, exterior wall, false ceiling and school construction requirements must be confirmed first; new configuration is not decided by the old unit's horsepower alone.

Quote separately for work beyond the basic scope

Pulling a new power supply from the main switch to the unit is not included; please provide the existing power supply location for the technician to assess and quote separately.

First confirm old unit removal, transport, copper pipes (the copper tubes through which the refrigerant flows), drain pipes, fixing and any extra work needed. General installation warranty and the manufacturer's product warranty are separate. Please see the installation service page for the full scope; special systems are not directly subject to general replacement terms.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Can it be arranged during school holidays?

You may enquire, as demand is higher during holiday periods. We recommend contacting customer service early to confirm.

Does the unit meet hygiene standards after cleaning?

General AC cleaning cannot be treated as proof of compliance with a specified hygiene standard. If a school has acceptance or documentation requirements, please provide the details first so we can confirm the services and documents available; we cannot guarantee in advance that all requirements will be met.

Can a tutorial centre in a shopping mall also be arranged?

Yes, please first check the mall’s work rules and available time slots.

Are the inspection fee and the call-out fee charged twice?

After the technician visits for an inspection, if the customer does not proceed with the repair or does not accept the repair quotation, a fixed HK$500 inspection/attendance fee will be charged; this is a single charge and is not split into two separate charges. If repair is approved, HK$500 can be deducted from the repair cost; please confirm the deduction and the amount payable when confirming the quotation. Inspection does not include cleaning, parts or repair, and related work will only be arranged after the quotation is confirmed.

Is the warranty the same for repairs and installations?

Our repair service does not include a warranty, including repair parts and workmanship. Please understand the repair scope and fees before accepting the quotation. We provide a one-year installation warranty, covering brackets and leaks caused by glass sealing or sealant. For split units, it also covers refrigerant leakage caused by poor refrigerant-pipe connection; not all water leaks or refrigerant leaks are covered by installation warranty. The two services must not be mixed up; for the full scope and exclusions, please see the repair and installation service pages, and special systems must be confirmed separately.
