COMMERCIAL SCENARIO

Shopping mall AC cleaning,Inspection, repair and installation

In a shopping mall, tenant air conditioning and shared building equipment may be managed by different parties. Retail stores, catering premises and other uses also have different shutdown and protection requirements. State the shop use, equipment and problem location first, then coordinate the management arrangement. Do not assume all tenants in the same mall have the same configuration.

OVERVIEW

Overview

For AC service preparation in shopping malls and shops, distinguish shared and tenant equipment, management notices, shutdown and indoor protection, then confirm the cleaning and works scope.

CLEANING FIRST

Shopping mall AC Cleaning Service Details

For shopping mall AC cleaning, first distinguish the shop’s own equipment from the shared parts managed by the management office, then clean the accessible components accordingly. During work, protect goods, cash register equipment and display items, and coordinate business hours, foot traffic and the management office’s access requirements.

What is included in the cleaning?

For four-way cassette, ducted and central air conditioning, the cleaning scope depends on the actual model, accessible parts and service access points. The air outlet, fan coil unit, full duct run and main unit are different jobs, and the quotation should state which parts will be handled.

Basic indoor cleaning for split-type units does not include the outdoor condenser. Additional drain work, special locations, or add-on items will be confirmed separately under the applicable conditions. We will inspect the unit before cleaning, then reassemble and test it after cleaning. If other issues are found, we will explain them first; repairs are not automatically included as part of cleaning.

Charges and cleaning process

Commercial cleaning is charged according to the current commercial price list based on equipment type, number of units and confirmed scope; please enquire first for special systems. The area or property name itself does not create a separate cleaning price.

Repair, inspection and installation enquiries are also welcome

AC inspection: identify the problem firstHK$500 inspection/attendance fee; can be deducted from the repair fee if repair work is carried out

If the entrance AC is not cooling, the airflow is weak in part of the area, or there is dripping, please describe the symptoms separately first so the technician can identify whether the issue is with the AC, drainage, usage environment or other equipment.

The inspection will first identify dripping, odour, noise, insufficient cooling or tripping issues, then find the cause according to the equipment and site conditions. If the customer does not proceed with repair or does not accept the quotation, a fixed HK$500 inspection/call-out fee will be charged as the same fee item; if repair is carried out, HK$500 can be deducted from the repair cost. Please verify the amount payable when confirming the quotation.

If there is a burning smell, smoke, repeated tripping, or water near electrical parts, please stop using the equipment first and do not keep switching it on or dismantle it yourself.

Air conditioner repair: confirm fault and quotationConfirm the quotation first; replacement parts and workmanship are not under warranty

Check the tenant’s unit, shared controls and entrance air curtain equipment separately. Repair only after confirming the fault and quotation, and do not combine all issues into one item.

Repairs are based on the inspection results, with the fault, possible solutions, and quotation explained before work begins. Parts must be checked against the model and availability; lack of cooling alone will not be treated as proof that refrigerant needs topping up. Our repair service does not include warranty, including repair parts and workmanship.

Air conditioner installation: confirm the work based on the unit positionGeneral installation includes a one-year warranty; new power supply wiring quoted separately

For replacement, confirm the old and new equipment, pipework, drainage, power supply and mall declaration requirements first, and state the scope for removal, transport and restoration.

Before installation or replacement, confirm the old and new model types, indoor and outdoor unit locations, support, pipework, drainage and power supply, and then clearly list dismantling of the old unit, transport, extra work and the quotation. Running a new power line from the main switch to the unit is not included in basic installation; general installation warranty is one year, while the manufacturer’s warranty is separate.

KEY CHECKS

Key preparation points before arranging

  1. Separate shop units and shared systems

Enquire about TimesProvide details of tenant equipment, shared air outlets, and management responsibility. Being able to reach the outlet does not mean the whole central system can be handled; please confirm the working parts and permissions first.

  2. Purpose affects preparation, not immediate diagnosis

Grease from food service, retail goods or high-traffic environments can be used as reference material, but it cannot be used to determine the cause of failure of every unit. First understand the equipment and symptoms, then choose the appropriate service.

  3. Management declaration and timing

Please provide the actual requirements for site declaration, access pass, shutdown permission and workable hours. Arrangement and documents must be confirmed in advance; we do not guarantee that all malls follow the same procedure or that any night-time work is allowed.

  4. Goods and indoor protection

Explain the goods, catering equipment, electronic systems, and areas where contact must be limited. Leave a working passage and confirm protection arrangements; do not describe ordinary cleaning as medical-grade or full disinfection work.

  5. Separate service and industry notes

The same shop may serve both mall and dining-related use cases, so there is no need to create multiple homepage versions with the same content. Quotations are still based on the actual equipment, quantity and scope of work.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Can quotes from other shops in the same mall be applied directly?

Do not apply it directly. The system, quantity, cleaning scope, and management requirements may differ, so confirm according to your own equipment and location.

Is restaurant AC cleaning the same as kitchen exhaust cleaning?

No. These are not the same service. The scope for air conditioning, exhaust and other equipment must be confirmed separately, and you cannot assume all work is included just because the venue is a restaurant.

Can you guarantee that business operations will not be affected at all?

No guarantee can be made in general. You may first provide your business hours and shutdown arrangements so that a workable date, scope and protection requirements can be coordinated, and then customer service will confirm.

Which parts are actually cleaned during AC cleaning?

For shopping mall AC cleaning, first distinguish the shop’s own equipment from the shared parts managed by the management office, then clean the accessible components accordingly. During work, protect goods, cash register equipment and display items, and coordinate business hours, foot traffic and the management office’s access requirements. Four-way cassette units, ducted units and central air conditioning are confirmed according to the actual model, accessible components and inspection points; air outlets, fan coil units, full duct runs and main units are different jobs, and the quotation should state which parts will be handled.

How is the inspection fee for an air conditioner calculated, and can it be deducted during repair?

The inspection will first identify dripping, odour, noise, insufficient cooling or tripping issues, then find the cause according to the equipment and site conditions. If the customer does not proceed with repair or does not accept the quotation, a fixed HK$500 inspection/call-out fee will be charged as the same fee item; if repair is carried out, HK$500 can be deducted from the repair cost. Please verify the amount payable when confirming the quotation.

Are the maintenance terms the same for cleaning, repair, and installation?

Not the same. Cleaning and maintenance of 90 should be checked against the service terms for the applicable reasons and conditions; not every dripping case qualifies for free repair. Our repair parts and workmanship are not under warranty; general installation warranty is one year, while the manufacturer’s warranty is handled separately.
