AC installation in winter: prepare the site and confirm the work first

In winter, you can plan AC installation in advance, but whether work can be carried out still depends on the model, supply, site conditions and mutual confirmation. Lower prices or more available slots cannot be guaranteed. The key is to confirm the opening, support, piping, drainage and power supply requirements first, not just the season.
First prepare the site information
Please provide photos showing the original unit model, opening, indoor wall position, outdoor unit location and visible piping, and state the renovation arrangements, management office work hours and any positions that must be kept. Do not lean out of the window to take measurements, remove supports, or move the existing equipment.
Confirm supply and installation separately
Please ask for a quotation that lists the selected model, supply and booking arrangements, and itemises removal of the old unit, basic installation, extra materials and high-level work. An unconfirmed date cannot be treated as reserved, and any promotion or discount must be confirmed under the actual terms; do not assume winter pricing automatically applies.
Existing piping cannot be judged by appearance alone
Before reusing copper pipes, drainage, support or power supply, let the installer assess according to the new unit specifications and condition, and record any hidden parts that cannot be confirmed. You cannot assume all materials are suitable for the new unit just because the old one worked normally.
Keep testing and usage records after completion
Complete restoration and testing as required by the manufacturer, and keep the model, scope of work, receipt, and warranty terms. Long-term shutdown and restart should also follow the manual. Earlier installation does not mean there will definitely be no fault or no need for maintenance next summer.
