AC TIPS & ADVICE

Improve discomfort caused by using the AC

Contents

If you are sensitive to cold air, you may try raising the air conditioner temperature slightly, or use humidity-control equipment to keep the indoor environment comfortable.

Regular AC system cleaning helps reduce dust and microorganism buildup inside the unit and maintain indoor air cleanliness.

1. Clean the AC regularly

Residents should clean the authorised filters and exterior surfaces according to the manual; cleaning of the condensate tray, fan and internal parts of the unit should be handled by service staff, and the unit should not be dismantled or flushed with water.

2. Do not install extra filters yourself

Do not install extra filters at the air inlet or outlet yourself. First confirm the original manufacturer-approved accessories and resistance requirements; a regular filter does not mean it can block all bacteria and viruses, and it cannot guarantee improvement in illness or replace ventilation.

3. Open the window

General circulation cooling is not the same as fresh-air ventilation. Whether to open windows depends on the weather, outdoor air quality, safety and the on-site system; do not ignore heavy rain or pollution risks just for ventilation.
