Autumn AC cleaning quotation: schedule, components and restoration confirmation
Contents
Arranging AC cleaning in autumn can be part of home maintenance, but it is not the best or a must-clean time for all models, and it does not guarantee a lower price or easier booking. First review usage, dirt build-up and any existing issues, then confirm the actual schedule and quotation with the service provider.
First separate indoor and outdoor quotes
Provide the model, quantity, photos of the unit and accessible areas, and ask which parts will actually be dismantled and cleaned. Whether a window unit can be safely removed, whether a split-type unit includes the outdoor condenser, and whether extra drainage handling is included should be confirmed on site and in the quotation, not only from the cleaning name.
Protection and restoration should also be clearly stated
Confirm the items under the unit, power supply, waste-water collection and surrounding protection, and ask clearly which parts will be removed and how they will be reinstalled. Residents should not reach inside, remove internal parts or spray chemicals, and should not soak all filter media in neutral kitchen detergent.
Do not inspect based on a fixed air-supply time
After completion, confirm the cleaning scope, restoration, test run and drainage observation. Seasonal shutdown and reuse should follow the instructions for your own model; do not apply a fixed 20 minutes or hours of fan mode, and do not assume there was no cleaning effect just because you cannot feel cool air in cold weather.
Keep the items that still need separate follow-up
If there is dripping, poor cooling, unusual noise or any pre-existing fault, please disclose it in advance. Cleaning, repairs and extra work are confirmed separately. Keep receipts and service records. One autumn cleaning does not guarantee it will not break down next year, that there will be no mould, or that the air in every room will remain healthy.
