Residential AC cleaning
AC cleaning is our main service. Split units and window units use the same household price list, charged by the number of units cleaned; additional items will be quoted separately first.
First check the indoor space for removing the window unit
Photograph the unit, window frame and furniture beside the unit to confirm whether it can be safely removed and transported; do not loosen the support or lean out of the window yourself just to take photos.
Take clear photos of both split-unit locations
Take separate photos of the indoor and outdoor units, and explain whether the outdoor unit can be reached safely from a safe position. High-level work, pipe modification, or work on shared drainage must be checked separately and is not treated as standard work included in a general cleaning.

Split-type indoor unit cleaning
Clean the cooling coil, fan blades (squirrel cage), dust filter and drain tray, and clear and inspect the drainage. Water collection and electronic board waterproof protection are prepared before cleaning.
Window unit cleaning
Clean the dust filter according to the model, installation location and accessible area, and inspect dust build-up. The customer does not need to dismantle the unit themselves.

Basic scope and separate quotations
Basic indoor cleaning for split-type units does not include the outdoor condenser. If additional cleaning, repairs, or parts replacement are needed, we will first confirm feasibility and provide a quote, and proceed only after the customer’s confirmation.

Is stating only the estate name enough for AC cleaning at Mei Tin Estate?
Please add the building name, floor, and unit. Mei Tin Estate has different residential blocks, and the estate location or office address alone is not enough to confirm the actual unit to visit.
Will air-conditioning cleaning in public housing also include support and replacement of the unit?
Cleaning, mounting support repairs, and AC replacement are different scopes. First check the cleaning method against the existing installation; if replacement, fixing parts, or external wall work is involved, confirm the management requirements, the work we can take on, and the quotation.
If the AC at Mei Tin Estate is leaking water or not cooling, should I clean it first or inspect it first?
First explain where and when the symptom appears. Dust buildup, poor drainage and component faults are handled differently; if the cause is unclear, inspect first before confirming cleaning or repair, and cleaning does not guarantee the fault will be resolved. If water is near electrical equipment, stop using the relevant equipment first.
How is the site inspection fee for Mei Tin Estate calculated?
The inspection/call-out fee is HK$500, and it is the same charge, not charged separately twice. If repairs are carried out after the inspection, this HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee; if no repair is carried out or the quotation is not accepted, HK$500 will be charged.
Does air conditioning repair include a warranty?
Our repair service does not include a warranty, including parts and workmanship. After inspection, we will first explain the fault, the method of handling, the parts needed and the quotation. Work will only begin after confirmation; parts availability is checked according to the actual model.
What installation items need to be confirmed when replacing an AC at Mei Tin Estate?
Provide the new and old unit models, indoor and outdoor unit locations, mounting support, piping, drain and power supply positions, and confirm removal of the old unit, transport and any extra works. Running a new power supply from the main switch to beside the unit is not included in basic installation. The general installation warranty is one year and is calculated separately from the manufacturer's warranty for the unit. Building or management requirements are subject to actual confirmation.
Is there a warranty for AC cleaning?
The cleaning service includes a 90-day warranty. The applicable scope and conditions should be checked against the cleaning service terms; for example, in a dripping case, it must first be confirmed whether it was caused by the cleaning. This does not mean all pre-existing faults or leaks are repaired free of charge.
