QUESTIONS

Silver CrestAC service FAQs

For air conditioner leaking or not cooling at Silver Crest, should cleaning or inspection come first?

Please first state where and when the symptoms occur. Dust buildup, poor drainage and mechanical faults are handled differently; if the cause is unclear, inspect first before confirming cleaning or repair. Cleaning does not guarantee the fault will be resolved. If water is near electrical equipment, please stop using the relevant equipment first.

How is the on-site inspection fee for Silver Crest calculated?

The inspection/service call fee is HK$500, and it is a single charge that will not be split and charged twice. If repair is carried out after inspection, this HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee; if no repair is carried out or the quotation is not accepted, HK$500 will be charged.

Is there a warranty for air conditioner repair?

Our repair service has no warranty, including parts and workmanship. After inspection, we will first explain the fault, the method of handling, required parts and quotation; work will begin only after confirmation. Parts supply will be checked against the actual model.

What installation items should be confirmed when replacing air conditioners at Silver Crest?

Please provide the old and new model, indoor and outdoor unit locations, support, piping, drainage and power supply positions to confirm dismantling of the old unit, transportation and additional work. Running a new power supply from the main switch to the unit is not included in basic installation. The general installation warranty is one year and is separate from the manufacturer’s warranty; building or management requirements will be confirmed according to the actual situation.

Is there a warranty for air conditioner cleaning?

The cleaning service includes a 90-day warranty. The scope and conditions are subject to the cleaning service terms; for example, in water leakage cases, it must first be confirmed whether the leak was caused by cleaning, and this does not mean all pre-existing faults or leaks will be repaired free of charge.
