QUESTIONS

Tin King EstateAC service FAQs

For water dripping or poor cooling at Tin King Estate, should cleaning or inspection come first?

Please first describe where and when the symptoms occur. Dust buildup, poor drainage and component faults require different handling; if the cause is unclear, inspection should come before confirming cleaning or repair. Cleaning does not guarantee the fault will be resolved. If water is near electrical equipment, please stop using the relevant equipment first.

How is the on-site inspection fee for Tin King Estate calculated?

The inspection/call-out fee is HK$500, and it is a single charge that will not be split or charged twice. If repair is carried out after inspection, this HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee; if no repair is carried out or the quotation is not accepted, HK$500 will be charged.

Is there a warranty for air-conditioner repair?

Our repair service does not include a warranty, including parts and workmanship. After inspection, we will first explain the fault, the handling method, the required parts and the quotation; work will only start after confirmation. Parts availability is checked against the actual model.

What installation items should be checked when replacing an air conditioner at Tin King Estate?

Please provide the new and old models, indoor and outdoor unit positions, supports, piping, drainage and power supply locations, and confirm dismantling of the old unit, transport and any additional work. Running a new power supply from the main switch to the unit is not included in basic installation; the general installation warranty is one year and is separate from the manufacturer's warranty. Building or management requirements will be confirmed based on the actual situation.

Is there a warranty for air-conditioner cleaning?

Cleaning service comes with a 90-day warranty. The scope and conditions are subject to the cleaning service terms; for example, in cases of water dripping, it must first be confirmed whether it was caused by the cleaning. This does not mean all pre-existing faults or leaks will be repaired free of charge.
