QUESTIONS

Fairmont GardensAC service FAQs

For air conditioner dripping or not cooling at Fairmont Gardens, should cleaning or inspection come first?

Please state where and when the symptoms occur. Dust buildup, poor drainage and component faults require different handling. If the cause is unclear, inspect first before confirming cleaning or repair. Cleaning does not guarantee that the fault will be solved. If water is near electrical equipment, please stop using the relevant equipment first.

How is the on-site inspection fee for Fairmont Gardens calculated?

The inspection / call-out fee is HK$500, and it is a single charge that will not be split and charged twice. If repair is carried out after inspection, this HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee. If no repair is carried out or the quotation is declined, HK$500 will be charged.

Is there a warranty for air conditioner repair?

Our repair service does not include a warranty, including parts and workmanship. After inspection, we will first explain the fault, the required method, the parts needed and the quotation, and work will only start after confirmation. Parts availability will be checked against the actual model.

What installation items should be checked when replacing an air conditioner at Fairmont Gardens?

Please provide the old and new model, indoor and outdoor unit positions, supports, piping, drainage and power supply locations to confirm removal of the old unit, transportation and any additional works. Running a new power supply from the main switch to the unit is not included in standard installation. Standard installation warranty is one year and is separate from the manufacturer’s warranty. Building or management requirements will be confirmed according to the actual situation.

Does air conditioner cleaning come with a warranty?

The cleaning service includes a 90-day warranty. The scope and conditions are subject to the cleaning service terms. For example, in a water dripping case, it must first be confirmed whether the dripping was caused by the cleaning. It does not mean all existing faults or leaks will be repaired free of charge.
