QUESTIONS

Queens Hill EstateAC service FAQs

For water dripping or poor cooling at Queens Hill Estate, should cleaning or inspection come first?

Please first state where and when the symptoms occur. Dust buildup, poor drainage and equipment faults are handled differently; if the cause is unclear, inspection comes first before confirming cleaning or repair. Cleaning does not guarantee the fault will be fixed. If water is near electrical appliances, please stop using the relevant equipment first.

How is the on-site inspection fee charged at Queens Hill Estate?

The inspection/attendance fee is HK$500, and it is the same charge, not billed separately more than once. If repair is carried out after inspection, this HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee; if no repair is carried out or the quotation is not accepted, HK$500 will be charged.

Is there a warranty for air conditioner repair?

Our repair service does not include any warranty, including parts and workmanship. After inspection, we will first explain the fault, the handling method, required parts and the quotation; work will only begin after confirmation. Parts availability is checked against the actual model.

What installation items need to be checked when replacing an air conditioner at Queens Hill Estate?

Please provide the new and old models, indoor and outdoor unit positions, supports, piping, drainage and power supply positions to confirm removal of the old unit, transportation and additional works. Pulling a new power supply from the main switch to the unit is not included in the basic installation. The general installation warranty is one year and is calculated separately from the manufacturer’s warranty. Building or management requirements will be confirmed based on actual conditions.

Is there a warranty for air conditioner cleaning?

The cleaning service comes with a 90-day warranty. The scope and conditions are subject to the cleaning service terms; for example, in dripping cases, it must first be confirmed whether the issue was caused by the cleaning, and this does not mean all pre-existing faults or water leaks will be repaired free of charge.
