If the air conditioner in Infotech Centre is dripping water or not cooling, should it be cleaned first or checked first?
First describe where and when the symptoms occur. Dust buildup, poor drainage and equipment faults require different handling; if the cause is unclear, inspect first before confirming cleaning or repair. Cleaning does not guarantee the fault will be solved. If water is near electrical equipment, please stop using the relevant equipment first.
How is the site inspection fee for Infotech Centre calculated?
The inspection/site visit fee is HK$500, and it is a single charge, not charged separately twice. If repair is carried out after inspection, this HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee; if no repair is carried out or the quotation is not accepted, HK$500 will be charged.
Is there a warranty for air conditioning repairs?
Our repair service has no warranty, including parts and workmanship. After inspection, we will first explain the fault, handling method, required parts and quotation, and work will only begin after confirmation; parts supply is checked according to the actual model.
What information is needed for replacement or new air conditioner installation?
Provide the old and new models, indoor and outdoor unit locations, support, piping, drainage and power supply positions, and confirm dismantling of the old unit, transportation and additional works. Pulling a new power supply from the main switch to beside the unit is not included in the basic installation. The usual installation warranty is one year, separate from the manufacturer's warranty for the unit, and requirements from the building or management are subject to actual confirmation.
Is there a warranty for air conditioner cleaning?
Cleaning service includes a 90-day warranty, and the applicable scope and conditions are checked according to the cleaning service terms; for example, in dripping cases, it must first be confirmed whether the issue was caused by the cleaning, and it does not mean all pre-existing faults or leaks will be repaired free of charge.
