For The Charterhouse air conditioner dripping or not cooling, should cleaning or inspection come first?
First explain where and when the symptoms appear. Dust buildup, poor drainage and component faults are handled differently; if the cause is not clear, inspect first and then confirm whether cleaning or repair is needed. Cleaning does not guarantee the fault will be solved. If water is near electrical appliances, please stop using the related equipment first.
How is the on-site inspection fee for The Charterhouse calculated?
The inspection/service call fee is HK$500, and it is a single charge that will not be split or charged twice. If repair is carried out after inspection, this HK$500 can be deducted from the repair fee; if no repair is carried out or the quotation is not accepted, HK$500 will be charged.
Is there a warranty for air conditioning repair?
Our repair service does not include a warranty, including parts and workmanship. After inspection, we will first explain the fault, the method of handling, required parts and the quotation; work will only start after confirmation. Parts supply is verified against the actual model.
What information is needed for air conditioner replacement or new installation?
Please provide the old and new models, indoor and outdoor unit locations, support structure, piping, drainage and power supply positions, and confirm old unit removal, transportation and any extra work. Pulling a new power supply from the main switch to the unit is not included in standard installation; the usual installation warranty is one year and is separate from the manufacturer’s warranty. Building or management requirements are confirmed based on the actual situation.
Is there a warranty for air conditioning cleaning?
The cleaning service comes with a 90-day warranty, and the applicable scope and conditions are subject to the cleaning service terms. For example, for dripping cases, it must first be confirmed whether the issue was caused by cleaning; this does not mean all pre-existing faults or leaks will be repaired free of charge.
